“Since a case is registered in Goa regarding the same matter, there is no need to initiate a separate action in this regard,” said Police Commissioner Rajendra Prasad, when contacted by Herald. It may be recalled that inclusion of name and photograph in the posters of the tiatr had raked up a controversy and irked SRS chief Pramod Muthalik and SRS activists in Goa and Karnataka. Protesting against the staging of the tiatr, Katare, the Hubli-Dharwad SRS chief, had lodged a police complaint demanding stringent action against the tiatr last week. However, after delay of three days, Hubli-Dharwad police seem to have ignored the complaint.
