SALIGAO: This was not an easy ride to a casual tucked away Goan restaurant, 2 kms away from the heart of Saligao village in the forest. The place has no proper road access, no proper streetlights, few houses surround the restaurant, almost as if was chosen to keep away people rather than welcome them.
However, on Thursday all doors were shut.
But this place is almost completely in the forest, and not for any walking guest or local. In the past too most of the peddlers and dealers were hosting and renting out places that are inside in the village and had no proper access. The place was deserted and there were a couple of cars parked there covered with dust.
Onye Lucky Sunday was found in possession of 64.91 gms of LSD liquid and 20.45 gms of MDMA, all worth Rs 66,95,500 from Saligao, one of the popular tourist hubs.
The SP said his team will also probe if his Goan in-laws are a part of the racket and action will accordingly be taken.
