The Department of Urban Development has decided to issue
online trade licenses and online birth and death certificates for the public.
After a meeting with the Urban Development secretary and officials, Goa TCP
Minister Vishwajit Rane said the certificates will be issued with a digital
signature. “The process for trade license used to take a lot of time
earlier. Now the applicants just have to apply online,” Vishwajit said.
