MARGAO: In a rewarding Friday morning endeavour, traditional fishermen from Benaulim returned to the shore with their boats and nets with a bumper catch.
The haul included an assortment of fish varieties, featuring lepo (sole, flounder), mackerels, kingfish, sardines and prawns. The sight of the flourishing catch brought satisfaction and contentment to the local fishermen, reinforcing the deep-rooted connection between the community and their maritime traditions.
