BORIM: A traffic police driver attached to Ponda Police Station was arrested on charges of harassing and assaulting his wife.
Acting on the complaint filed by his wife on Sunday, police arrested the accused, Vitesh Tari, on Monday.
He was later released on bail.
Ponda Police have registered the case under Section 498 (a) of Indian Penal Code and is investigating the case.
