In a devastating incident on Monday, a residential building in Hyderabad’s Nampally became the scene of a massive fire, resulting in the tragic loss of six lives. The calamity also left three individuals injured.
The fire originated on the ground floor, where chemicals were stored, quickly spreading to other levels of the building. Preliminary investigations suggest that a spark during a car repair may have triggered the blaze.
Eyewitness accounts reveal that the chemicals ignited, proving resistant to conventional water-based firefighting efforts. The fire brigade was promptly notified at approximately 9:35 am, leading to the immediate dispatch of multiple fire tenders to the site. At present, the official determination of the fire’s cause and the comprehensive evaluation of the incurred damage are pending.
