In a devastating incident on Thursday morning, at least 12 lives were tragically lost, with one individual critically injured in a road accident in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur district. The accident unfolded at approximately 7:15 a.m. along the Bangalore-Hyderabad National Highway 44.
Local law enforcement shared their insights on the accident, revealing that a Tata Sumo car collided with a stationary truck on the highway, resulting in the immediate loss of 12 lives. Preliminary investigations into the incident have unveiled that the SUV was en route from Andhra Pradesh to Bengaluru. The driver of the vehicle reportedly failed to notice the presence of the parked truck due to the dense fog that blanketed the area. Further investigations are underway.
