In a tragic incident near the holy town of Manikaran in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, the lifeless bodies of a couple, believed to be of Russian origin, were discovered at a small pond. The bodies, found on Thursday, displayed certain injury marks, prompting authorities to consider the possibility of suicide, though murder has not been ruled out.
The victims, a man and a woman in their twenties, remain unidentified at present. However, based on belongings found nearby, authorities suspect the couple may be from Russia. The grim discovery unfolded near the Parvati river in Tagri, where the naked bodies were located—one inside a kund (hot spring pool) and the other just outside the pool. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
