In a shocking incident that has rattled the community of Pali town in Rajasthan, a father, identified as Shivlal Meghwal (57), committed a gruesome act of revenge against his daughter, Nirma (32). The preliminary investigation revealed that Meghwal had been living separately from his wife and children for the past twelve years in Pali, while they resided in Gujarat. The father allegedly held his daughter responsible for the discord within the family, leading him to carry out a horrifying act of violence.
The tragic incident unfolded when Nirma, along with her husband, visited Pali to attend a wedding. Meghwal, seizing an opportune moment, convinced Nirma and her younger sister to accompany him under the pretext of an urgent matter. Taking them to a secluded location, he feigned the loss of his phone and asked the younger daughter to wait. In a sinister turn of events, Meghwal then slit Nirma’s throat and set her body on fire after dousing it with petrol.
Upon Meghwal’s return to his younger daughter, who awaited them, bloodstains on his hands raised suspicion. The younger daughter then alerted the village residents, prompting a swift response from the police. The discovery of Nirma’s partially burnt body has left the community in shock, and efforts are underway to apprehend the absconding accused as a case has been registered against him.
