PANJIM: Transport Department has notified running of a fleet of 60 buses owned by Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) in and around the capital city of Panjim under the Smart City project.
The notification issued on March 11, 2024, routes covered by the buses are from Panjim Bus Stand to Miramar, Dona Paula, Caranzalem, Bambolim, Goa University, Cujira, Taleigao, St Inez, St Cruz and Altinho.
The KTCL buses will start operation of buses for April 1, 2024. The proposed service will be of operating stage carriages by buses, mini buses. The stage carriages will be of different types such as luxury stage carriages, semi-luxury stage carriages (electric vehicles), electric buggies in non-motorized roads etc with limited stops or direct from one stop to another.
