PANJIM: The Directorate of Transport has effected promotions and transfers of its officers while also reliving officers holding additional charge.
In the list of promotions, Motor Vehicles Inspectors Rajesh Naik and Vinod Arlekar have been elevated to the post of Assistant Director of Transport. Naik will hold the charge as ADT Dharbandora by replacing ADT (Ponda) Balchandra Sawant, who was also given the additional charge of the taluka while Arlekar is posted at ADT Enforcement, Margao.
The order issued by Director (Transport) Nikhil Desai on Tuesday has also transferred ADT Enforcement, Margao, Pralhad Desai to North Enforcement section and Nandakishor Arolkar, who on promotion to the post of ADT, was directed to continue holding the ADT Enforcement, North, has been relieved of the charge.
