PANJIM: The Goa Tourism Development Corporation Friday commissioned the sewage treatment plant at Calangute to look after all the waste water generated by the toilets for public at Tourist Residency, officials said.
The STP would treat the sewage water from the toilets and the treated waste water would then be used for lawns and other such needs.
This is as per the plans by the tourism department for upgradation of infrastructure on the tourism belt.
