VASCO: A family from Velsao had a miraculous escape when a tree fell on their house while they were sleeping.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 2 am on Sunday when a tree that had become weak from the roots came down crashing on the house located nearby. The impact of the fall was such that roof portion of tiled roof house belonging to Maria Barbosa from Velsao got damaged, while Maria and her daughter escaped miraculously. Loss is estimated to be around Rs 10,000.
