CANACONA: Two trees got uprooted and fell on the middle of the NH66 at Padi and Polem on Friday evening disrupting the traffic at both places for a while.
Sources at the Canacona fire and emergencies office said that they had to deal with a fallen tree on the middle of NH66 at Polem in Canacona at 5 pm, same time another road side tree came crashing down on NH66 at Padi. The Canacona fire crew attended to the fallen tree at Polem, while a fire tender was called from Margao to clear the road for traffic at Padi.
The traffic was disrupted for about an hour at Polem.
