Bicholim police arrested three persons involved in several theft cases in most parts of the State.
According to police, Gauresh Kerkar, Vankatesh Sutar and Krishna Naik from Porvorim were arrested for their alleged involved in several theft cases . Their modus operandi was the same, as they used to attack non-Goans, who parked their vehicles on roads at night.
In a similar incident at Karapur-Sanquelim last month, one Maruti Chitragar from Belgaum had parked his truck (KA-22-9782). At midnight, the accused came in a car and threatened Maruti, fled with cash and documents. The accused were held under Section 392 IPC and were later released on bail.
