According to sources, the mishap occurred on early Friday morning when the driver lost control on the steering while negotiating a dangerous turn at Torxem, Pernem. The truck turned turtle after it hit the divider and an electricity pole. Tempo bearing registration number HR 55 X 3099 was proceeding from Panjim to Mumbai via Sawantwadi. Several bottles of liquor fell on the road. The Mopa Police conducted panchanama. Driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
