According to Ponda Police Chiruddin, a native of Mumbai, driver of truck (MP-09 HF-0417), drove the same in a rash and negligent manner, while proceeding from Kundaim IDC, towards the one way road and when he reached near the main gate of Kundaim IDC, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the four shops. One shop owner Dayanand Krishna Naik of Mazilwada Kuncolim and Shyam Raghunath Naik of Kuncolim Mardol, sustained injuries. Further the accused driver fled from the site without giving medical aid to the injured or informing the police.
Truck crashes into four shops at Kundaim
PONDA: Ponda police registered an offence against a truck driver, Chiruddin Somiulla Khan (53) for damaging four shops situated at the main gate of Kundaim Industrial Estate. Some customers in the shops were also injured in the incident.
