CANACONA: Two persons had a lucky escape when a truck and pickup collided at Gulem, Canacona.
According to Canacona police the incident took place around 9.20 am when a charcoal laden truck was proceeding from Karwar to Margao. The truck driver Sunil Kumbhar, a resident of Palus, Sangli, while overtaking another vehicle at Gulem, Canacona dashed against an oncoming sand laden pickup which was driven by Atul Devidas, a resident of Shristal, Canacona.
