PONDA: Finally, the two-time postponed Goa Dairy’s annual general body meeting will be held on February 12, at Sahkar Bhavan premises, Curti, here, at 10.30 am.
Jayant Desai, chairman of Milk Supplying Society at Sanguem, who had written to Goa Dairy reminding about the AGM said, “I have received a letter from Goa Dairy Chairman Durgesh Shirodkar informing about the meeting to be held on February 12.”
It may be recalled that earlier the meeting was scheduled on December 27 but as it was coinciding with the AGM of Goa State Cooperative Bank it was postponed as the members of both the institutions are common.
The meeting postponed was rescheduled on January 17. However, it was not held as some members mentioned that they have no permission from the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) and following chaos in the meeting on permission issue for two hours it was postponed. The members had also demanded to call a meeting on January 31, but it was not materialised. However, now finally, the Goa Dairy Administration has declared date for AGM on February 12.
