Bicholim Police have arrested two men in connection with the electrocution death of a 20-year-old ITI student during electrical installation work at a house under construction in Maulinguem.
The accused have been identified as Kedar Krishna Mandrekar (33) and Sameer Ramnath Maulingkar (41).

According to police, the student suffered a fatal electric shock while testing the electrical wiring at the under-construction house. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused allegedly failed to ensure adequate safety measures during the testing process, resulting in the tragic incident.
Based on the findings of the investigation, Bicholim Police arrested the duo for their alleged negligence in connection with the student’s death.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
