CANACONA: Canacona police with the help of their counterparts in Margao arrested two persons within hours a two-wheeler stolen at Charrasta.
In a swift action, after receiving a complaint of theft of a two-wheeler parked by the owner in front of his shop, Canacona police swung into action and with the help of their counterparts in Margao and successfully intercepted a duo of Madhya Pradesh at Khareband in Margao and recovered the stolen two-wheeler from them.
Canacona police said that they have registered a case against Niraj Dhrijal and Ashu Akilesh Pandey, both residents of Madhya Pradesh, for stealing a Suzuki Access two-wheeler when it was parked by its owner in front of his shop at Charrasta in Canacona.
The accused are cooling their heels in police lock up at Margao police station; they will be brought to Canacona on Saturday.
