VASCO: The Dabolim police on Sunday early morning arrested two persons including a taxi driver after a midnight scuffle that was reported outside Dabolim Airport premises.
Police said one Rizwan Shaikh (23), a resident of Mangor Hill in Vasco, complained that on Saturday evening one Amit alias Chote Gawde (21), a resident of Mangor Hill, and one Surendra Naik (32), a resident of Vasco abused and assaulted him.
On probe, police learnt that Rizwan had stepped in to stop the fight between Gawde and one Vikas, over some passenger issue outside Dabolim Airport. However, in a fit of anger, Gawde hit Rizwan with a bottle on his head. Both the accused were arrested and released on bail.
