PORVORIM: Two of the three Bangladeshis arrested in Delhi in connection with the ATM theft reported at Porvorim were remanded to five days police custody on Wednesday.
According to Porvorim Police, Mohd Safiq, Sofekul Mulla and Rustom were arrested during an operation conducted by Delhi’s Special Cell, North Goa District Police and Goa CB at Delhi. Safiq and Mulla were arrested from Delhi airport while trying to flee to Kolkata, Rustom was arrested after a shootout at Anant Vihar in Delhi during which he sustained severe injuries. JMFC remanded Safiq and Mulla to five days police custody.
