CANACONA: Two brothers Laxmikant Jana Naik (48) and Shashikant Jana Naik (46) died of cardiac arrest on Sunday night in Paasal.
As per the reports, the deceased Shashikant went to sleep after dinner at around 8 pm. His brother went to check on him as he did not wake up as usual in the middle of night to go to the bathroom. Seeing Shashikant motionless, he screamed and fell to the ground.
Both the brothers are survived by two younger siblings Shailesh and Shaila.
Locals of Paasal village and the relatives of the deceased paid their last respects. The final rites were performed on Monday evening.
Both brothers shared the same birthday on July 1.
