MARGAO: Margao police have booked two persons for cheating a resident of Dramapur to the tune of Rs.12,00,000 on the pretext of finding him a job abroad.
Police said the accused were Manuel Da costa and Samson Fernandes from Dramapur. Police sub inspector Vibhawari Gaonker has registered an offence against the two of them under Section 420 of the IPC.
Police said that Guruudas Lotliker was conned by two men with valid recruitment papers, who promised him a job in the US, after taking money for visa and other processes.
