PANJIM: Agassaim police arrested two residents of Chimbel in connection with an assault and murder case within 24 hours of the case being registered.
Manjunath Gaundar from Indira Nagar, Chimbel and Sunil Parvatkar of Merces were arrested for assaulting and murdering a Betim resident Prashant Pednekar.
The deceased was found injured near Bambolim cross and later succumbed to his injuries at GMC on Wednesday.
