VALPOI: Two persons committed suicide in Sattari taluka in as many days.
In the first case, one Bhiru Umaji Kholapte (37) from Bhelshe wada, in Bhuipal, committed suicide by hanging from a tree. In the second case, one Kashinath Raghu Gaonkar (42) from Karmali in Budruk-Valpoi drowned himself by jumping into Mhadei River.
The motive behind suicide is not yet known.
