Two cops under surveillance for breach of trust

PANJIM: Two police personnel are facing an inquiry for misconduct of honesty and integrity, following allegations of leaking information in the public domain.
Sources told Herald that a police sub inspector and a constable attached to Panjim police station are under surveillance of their own department for breach of trust.
“The two personnel, intentionally and without any authority or permission from higher ups, had been sharing information with an individual. The leaked information, which should not be in public domain, would be found on a social platform. Therefore, the department launched an inquiry,” a source revealed.
The high-level inquiry is expected to be completed soon, after which the department will decide the fate of the two policemen.
