PANJIM: The town police have arrested two alleged extortionists identified as Shabbir Syed Gujarati and Mehboob Shah Mulla in connection with a case registered last month. Both are residents of Indira Nagar, Chimbel.
Police said they belong to Bichoo gang, a known criminal and reportedly an associate of another alleged notorious criminal Ashpak Bhengre. The accused have been remanded for interrogation.
