MARGAO: Fatorda Police on Friday arrested two persons for assaulting and causing grievous injuries to two others and the two have been booked under Sections 326, 504, 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
On September 25, at around 11.30 pm Sandeep Honavarkar (23) from Pajifond and Shubam Naik Tari (22), both residents of Gogol went to a wine shop belonging to Pritam Moradekar; purchased wine and when asked to pay for the it, assaulted Pritam and his friend Sanjay Hatrekar. Pritam filed the complaint on Friday after identifying the two from the CCTV footage as he did not know them when the incident took place.
