Mapusa: In a road rage incident, Anjuna police have arrested two persons for allegedly assaulting a Maharashtra tourist. As per information obtained from SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on March 14 at about 10 pm, a distress call was received from the Police Control Room informing that a fight was going on near Anjuna Petrol Pump.
Accordingly, a team led by PI Prashal Dessai along with staff of Anjuna Police Station visited the site immediately and found that one tourist hailing from Maharashtra was injured and car was found damaged.
The injured were immediately shifted to District Hospital Mapusa. The injured is identified as Omkar Upwane native of Kalyan, Mumbai.
