MARGAO: The Colva Police have arrested two persons for organising bullfights at Colva, recently, which resulted in death of one bull.
According to the sources, on October 26, a complaint was registered against the bullfights which had allegedly taken place on October 18. A video clip of it was also circulating on the social media platform.
Accordingly, a case was registered at Colva Police Station vide cr.no.133/2020 u/s 429 r/w 34 IPC and 11(a) (m) (n) of PCA Act.
During the investigation, the accused were identified as Manjunath, 33 years old, resident of Pedda, Varca and Anclento Francis Pereira, 71-year-old, resident of Varca. Both have been arrested. Further investigation is in progress.
