PANJIM: In an embarrassing incident, two lady Police Inspectors (PIs) Sudiksha Naik and Loveleen Dias, who were incidentally batch mates during the police training, allegedly got physical over a petty issue on Thursday.

On the other hand, Naik alleged that Dias pushed and abused her.
A senior officer said that the Panjim Police have registered a non- cognizable case against the two and informed about the matter to their superiors.
Following this incident, the Police Department has decided to hold an inquiry, which would most likely be conducted by an officer of the rank of Superintendent of Police.
“We will issue an order for an inquiry tomorrow (Friday) to get a conclusion to this incident,” Inspector General of Police Jaspal Singh informed Herald when asked if the department was contemplating action against Police Inspectors Sudiksha Naik and Loveleen Dias for indulging in a fight while on duty.
