PANJIM: State Government has granted six month extension to Additional Secretary (Law) Sharad Marathe in public interest. Also Secretary Goa Lokayukta IAS Mathew Samuel is granted extension in service for a period of four months.
In an order issued on June 26, Marathe is granted extension from July 1 to December 31, 2018, while Samuel’s contractual appointment is extended from July 1 to October 31.
The extension in service of Marathe is subject to approval from Council of Ministers, vigilance clearance and concurrence of finance department.
Samuel (retired) is also director general Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (GIPARD).
