VASCO: Two offices located in the heart of the port town were burgled on Sunday.
The offices of J M Baxi, a shipping company and The United India Insurance Company near the Vasco Railway station were burgled.
Vasco Police informed that Rs 40,000 in cash were stolen from J M Baxi office and while the United India Insurance Company was robbed of Rs 50,000.
The police disclosed that the burglars gained entry into these offices by breaking open the main door. They further broke open the lockers to steal the cash. Vasco Police are further investigating the case.
