PANJIM: The Mandrem Police booked two Russian nationals for allegedly assaulting a Russian woman.
According to the police, on February 27, Dmitrii Sidoror, a Russian national, presently residing at Nityar, Camurlim. Mapusa, lodged a complaint stating that at Ocean Villa Guest House, Arambol, Pernem, accused persons Lev Feldman, 50, and Elizaveta Meledina, 27, both Russian nationals, wrongfully restrained the complainant’s wife causing her injuries.
The accused too were staying at Ocean Villa Guest House and the incident occurred on February 25.
The Mandrem Police have registered a case under Sections 341, 354 B and 323 read with Section 34 of IPC in this regard. PSI K Naik is conducting investigations under the guidance of Mandrem PI Sheriff Jacques.
