Two sisters held for possession of drugs

PANJIM: Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths arrested two sisters on charges of alleged drug trade. According to police, Yogita and Chaitali Naik were allegedly caught with 14 kgs ganja and 20 grams MDMA worth Rs 16 lakh at Mapusa.

PANJIM: Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths arrested two sisters on charges of alleged drug trade.  According to police, Yogita and Chaitali Naik were allegedly caught with 14 kgs ganja and 20 grams MDMA worth Rs 16 lakh at Mapusa. The duo was at a grocery shop, owned by their father Santosh Naik, from where the seizures were made. The sleuths also raided their house, located close to the shop. The family members have denied the charges alleging that the raiding team planted drugs and booked the 2 daughters in a false offence.
