MARGAO: Some unknown persons stole two Samsung tablets belonging to the chief ticket checking officers of the Railways.
Konkan Railway Police based on the complaint have registered an offence under Section 379 of Indian Penal Code for committing theft of the tablets. However, so far no arrest has been made.
Complainant Amar Singh Meena, chief ticket checking officer of East Railway Colony Faridabad, Haryana stated that he along with other officer Ram Singh Meena were performing duty on Rajdhani Express train from Nizamuddin Railway Station and when the train halted at Chiplun Railway Station they came to know that their tablets were missing from their seats.
Head Constable Minguel Vaz is investigating the case.
