MAPUSA: Mapusa Police booked unknown persons in two different theft cases which occurred, on Saturday.
According to the police, in first case, one Tejesh Ramnath Shetye (37) presently residing at Daril Apartment, Cuchelim-Mapusa lodged a complaint stating that on September 4, unknown person made entry into his flat by breaking the lock of main door and decamped with gold ornaments and cash all worth Rs 1 lakh approximately.
In the second incident, one Sujaykumar Kesharnath Netravalkar (59), resident of Dattawadi, Mapusa, complaint that an unknown person allegedly committed theft of brass utensils.
Police have booked unknown persons under Section 380 IPC.
