PANJIM: Two underage motorists are critical after their two-wheeler banged into a police patrolling jeep at Taleigao during the late hours of Friday.
Both have sustained head injuries as their condition remains serious.
Panjim Police said the helmet-less rider of the two-wheeler rammed into the jeep on failing to control the speeding bike. The impact was such that the front portion of the bike was nearly crashed.
The patrolling team soon rushed the pillion rider to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim while the rider’s relative took him to a private hospital, from where he was referred to the government hospital. The police found that the motorists were in violation of the MV Act, however, they are awaiting for their recovery to decide further course of action.
