Two women end life

A 28-year-old woman from Desai Nagar, Sanquelim, committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence on Thursday. According to Bicholim police, Sharin Shekh committed suicide by locking the door of her flat. The police sent the body for autopsy at GMC in Bambolim.
In a related incident reported at Pale, a 34-year old Tulshidas G Naik committed suicide by jumping from the newly inaugurated Usgao Bridge at Pali. The body was found floating in the river at Bhamai-Pali on Wednesday. Bicholim police is investigating the case.
MARGAO REPORTER ADDS: An unknown woman, believed to be aged around 30 years, ended her life by allegedly committing suicide under the flyover connecting Margao and Khareband.
The body was found hanging under the bridge. She used her dupatta to hang herself, informed Margao PSI Gawde.
Meanwhile, a 80-yr old woman, Indira Rama Naik, who had sustained burn injuries 10 days ago, succumbed to her injuries in the hospital today. The Margao police has registered a case of unnatural death.
