MARGAO: Margao Town Police last night arrested two persons under Section 151 of Criminal Procedure Code as they were found quarrelling and fighting near a petrol pump close to the police station.
The two arrested are 20-year-old Sikandar Shaikh son of Imam Sab Shaikh and 28-year-old Sanjay Pujari son of Shankar Pujari. Both are residents of Nagmodem, Navelim.
It is learnt that the real reason why they were kept in the lock up last night was because they assaulted a police constable who had gone to break their fight.
