MARGAO: Wednesday saw Art and Culture Minister Dayanand Mandrekar feigning ignorance on the government’s move to bring tiatr under a censor board saying that he has neither seen any such file nor given his nod for a censorship since he was out of station for five days.
Mandrekar, however, asserted that President of Tiatr Academy of Goa Prince Jacob should have brought to his notice if the TAG President had come across any move to censor tiatr.
Meanwhile, Goans for Dabolim Only has warned the Goa government that it will have to pay a heavy price if it goes ahead with its agenda of bringing tiatr under a censor board. Fr Eremito Rebello said GFDO will fully support the tiatr fraternity.
