Suspecting the boy’s death could be the result of a murder, the boy’s uncle feels that police should thoroughly investigate the case.
According to the boy’s mother, her son was playing behind and running around the Saptah fair on Sunday evening and later disappeared.
The boy’s aunt said he was an active, playful child, studying in Class II in a primary school at Mangor. He was taken by his mother to the Saptah fair on Sunday fearing that he would play mischief at home.
“After he went missing, we filed a police complaint with Vasco Police. The police team along with us went out searching for him at night. We also referred to the CCV footage wherein the boy was seen at 6.15 pm on Sunday, after which he disappeared,” she added.
The boy’s aunt further said that after their efforts to search him proved futile, they thought that he might have slept somewhere and expected him to return to the stall the next day. “But we received the shocking news about his death the next day,” she added.
