MARGAO: The Rumdamoll Davorlim gram sabha on Sunday besides resolving to write to MLA Luizinho Faleiro to undertake underground cabling of electricity wires in the village as requested by Luizinho since he needed a gram sabha resolution to take the matter forward.
The gram sabha also demanded that the street lighting be reverted to the old system as the present outsourcing its maintenance is not working. The villagers complained that their calls are not attended to and at times there are no street lights for days.
