Undertrials clash, one injured

An undertrial was injured after he clashed with another undertrial in Mapusa judicial custody on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, both the undertrials, Ashpaq Bengre and Amog Naik, were taken to Asilo Hospital, Mapusa, for medical treatment by officials of the judicial custody.
After treatment, both the undertrials were brought back to the judicial custody.
However, no official complaint was lodged with Mapusa Police. Mapusa Police officials and officials of the judicial custody refused to comment on the issue.
However, it is reliably learnt that the details of the incident will be communicated to the Inspector General of Police.
