BORIM: Former chief minister Ravi Naik has accused the BJP government of its failure to provide unemployment dole to the public.
He was speaking after launching ‘Third Eye’, an organization formed by some former councillors of Ponda Municipal Council (PMC). Former PMC chairperson Sanjay Manu Naik is the president, while former councillor Kishore Naik is a member.
“In its election manifesto, the BJP had assured several schemes but has failed to keep their assurances,” said Naik and appealed to the ‘Third Eye’ to become a watchdog for the betterment of society by keeping watch on government activities.
Speaking on the garbage menace, Naik alleged that the newly formed municipal council is deliberately trying to make the temple city unholy to derive political gains.
Third Eye President Sanjay Naik said the organization will be for the betterment of the society by giving a boost to budding talent in the field of music, art and drama.
According to him, they have plans to open branches in Priol, Marcaim and Bicholim.
On the occasion, musician Prabhakar Chavan was felicitated by Ravi Naik for his contribution in the field of music.
