PANJIM: In order to select two youngsters to represent India at the Telenor Youth Summit in Norway, Uninor conducted a contest for all youth between 18 to 25 years of age.
After the final jury round of this contest, called ‘My Mobile Idea that can bring about positive social change’, Uninor has now announced the two winners.
Abhishek Gupta from IIT Kanpur, with his idea of utilising mobile connectivity to empower Indian farmers to obtain better rates for their produce and Shikha Pathak from SIMC, Pune with her mobile tech based solution for women’s safety will travel to Oslo (Norway) to participate in the Telenor Youth Summit.
The Telenor Youth Summit is being organised by the Telenor Group in partnership with the Nobel Peace Centre and will coincide with the Nobel Peace Prize event this year. The Summit will see youngsters from various parts of the world, representing their countries at the platform.
