Was found lying in pool of blood by roadside on NH-17

CANACONA: An unidentified motorcycle rider died in a road accident along the national highway-17 between Sarzora and Panzarcone-Cuncolim late Wednesday night.
According to sources, the motorcycle rider was found lying along the roadside in a pool of blood, while the motorcycle (GA-09-F-2272) was lying in the middle of the road.
As there was no any other vehicle around the accident site, locals suspect that it could be a hit-and-run case.
Locals also claim that some fibre pieces of a bumper, probably of a small vehicle, were seen at the site. Locals summoned 108 ambulance and also the police, who rushed to the site and conducted the panchnama. They are trying to find out the vehicle involved in the accident.
