MARGAO: Colva police have registered a case of unnatural death following the death of a Benaulim resident.
According to police, they received a phone call from the casualty police of Hospicio, Margao, informing that 59-year-old Alcino Afonso from Vasvaddo, Benaulim, was brought dead. Accordingly, the IO visited the hospital and conducted the panchanama. The body has been preserved in the morgue at GMC for the post mortem.
Further investigation is in progress.
